If you become aware of any infringement, please contact the webmaster at rica@ibiza-bible.com and we will remove the content promptly. © IBIZA BIBLE POCKET GUIDE. All rights reserved.

5. User-submitted content — events calendar

Promoters and event organisers may submit their parties and events to the events calendar free of charge. We may suspend or terminate your right to use this service if you breach these Terms. You agree that any content you submit:

  • does not infringe any third-party right (copyright, trademark, privacy or other proprietary right or trade secret);
  • does not promote illegal or unauthorised copies of copyrighted works;
  • is not defamatory, unlawful, abusive, threatening or obscene;
  • does not transmit viruses or other harmful components;
  • does not impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
  • is not meaningless, deliberately disruptive, repetitive or “spam”;
  • does not include another person’s photograph/image without their consent;
  • does not contain racism, nudity, violence or sexually offensive material, or link to adult websites.

6. Newsletter and free magazine

  • You may subscribe to our newsletter and receive our magazine free of charge by giving your consent (the opt-in box, which is not pre-ticked).
  • You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email or by contacting us at rica@ibiza-bible.com.
  • The free magazine/download is provided “as is”, for personal, non-commercial use.
  • How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

7. Ticket purchases

7.1 Ticketing provider. Tickets are sold and processed through the ticketing platform fourvenues, embedded on the Website. The purchase is completed inside the fourvenues checkout and payment is handled by fourvenues’ payment provider; we do not store your card details.

7.2 How to buy (Art. 27 LSSI). (1) Select the event and ticket type; (2) enter the requested buyer details; (3) review the total price; (4) confirm and pay in the fourvenues checkout; (5) receive your ticket and confirmation by email. Before confirming, you can review and correct the information you entered.

7.3 Price (transparency). The total price shown before payment includes IVA and any management/booking fees (“gastos de gestión”), itemised. There are no hidden charges; we do not charge extra for printing your ticket or receiving it on a mobile device.

7.4 Order confirmation (Art. 28 LSSI). Your order is confirmed by email (by us or the ticketing provider) within 24 hours of purchase.

7.5 Language and record. The contract may be concluded in English or Spanish. The transaction is recorded by the ticketing provider and is available to you via your confirmation email/account.

7.6 No right of withdrawal. Tickets give access to a leisure/entertainment event on a specific date. In accordance with Art. 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU and Art. 103(l) of the Spanish TRLGDCU (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007), the 14-day right of withdrawal (“derecho de desistimiento”) does NOT apply to these tickets. By completing your purchase you acknowledge this.

7.7 Refunds, cancellation and changes. Tickets are non-refundable, except where the event is cancelled or substantially modified (for example, a material line-up change) for reasons other than force majeure arising after the event has begun. In those cases you are entitled to a refund of the ticket price; a voucher may be offered only if you expressly accept it. Refunds are made by the original payment method, normally within 14 days. Regional consumer rules of the Balearic Islands may also apply.

7.8 Age and admission. Entry is restricted to persons aged 21 and over (or as otherwise stated for the specific event). A valid ID may be required at the door; underage holders will be refused entry with no refund. Admission is subject to the venue’s conditions (right of admission, dress code, prohibited items, conduct and intoxication rules). Each ticket admits one person, is valid for a single scan and does not guarantee re-entry. Lost or stolen tickets cannot be replaced or refunded; please keep your ticket/QR code safe. Entry may be refused for breach of these conditions, with no refund.

7.9 Resale. Tickets may not be resold above face value or through unauthorised channels (Art. 67 of RD 2816/1982). Tickets purchased by automated means or resold in breach of these Terms may be voided without refund.

7.10 The events. Events take place at and are run by the relevant venue (for example, Dunes Ibiza); the Publisher promotes the events and sells the tickets.

8. Advertising & promotions

All advertisements are accepted and published on the basis that the advertiser and/or advertising agency is duly authorised to publish their entire content and subject matter. The advertiser warrants that submitted content does not infringe any third-party right (copyright, trademark, privacy or trade secrets) and is not defamatory, unlawful, abusive, threatening or obscene, and does not impersonate any person or include another person’s image without consent.

The advertiser and/or agency shall indemnify and hold IBIZA BIBLE POCKET GUIDE harmless against any claim arising from the content of the advertisement (including libel, breach of privacy, plagiarism, trademark, patent or copyright infringement). The Publisher is not responsible for the accuracy of advertiser materials.

The Publisher may reject any advertising not in keeping with the publication’s standards, policies and principles, and may add the word “Advertisement”, “Promotion” or “Advertorial” where, in the Publisher’s sole judgement, content too closely resembles editorial pages. The Publisher is not bound by conditions on any order blank, insertion order or contract that conflict with the Publisher’s rate card.

The advertiser and/or agency is liable for payment of invoices for advertising, banners and promotions. Advertising, promotions, advertorials, sponsorships and graphic-design/production work are payable in advance in all cases. Promotions are arranged only with the Publisher’s consent. Enquiries: +34 675 407 494.

Orders for advertising campaigns may not be cancelled after closing dates. Cancellations prior to closing must be in writing; verbal cancellations are not accepted. Options for advertorials, cover positions and premium positions must be exercised at least 30 days before the closing date, failing which the option lapses. Advertisers billed at special frequency-based contract rates who fail to fulfil the contract may be billed, at the Publisher’s discretion, for the difference to reflect the rate actually earned.

Payments may be made via PayPal, cash or bank transfer; no cheques are accepted. Bank-transfer fees are borne by the advertiser and/or agency. If a delinquent account is referred to an attorney or collection agency, the advertiser and/or agency agrees to pay reasonable attorney/collection fees, court costs and other collection costs.

The Publisher shall not be liable for any failure to publish or circulate all or part of any issue due to strikes, work stoppages, accidents, fire, acts of God or any circumstance beyond the Publisher’s control.

While every effort is made to ensure information is correct at the time of publication, we cannot be held responsible for the outcome of any action or decision based on the content of this website or magazine, and give no warranty as to the completeness or accuracy of the content, explanations or partner links.

10. Liability

We are not liable for the conduct of events by the venue/organiser, for third-party services (fourvenues, KlickTipp, payment providers), for force majeure, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability or consumer right that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Data protection and cookies

Your personal data is processed as described in our Privacy Policy. The Website uses cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.

12. Complaints and dispute resolution

For any complaint, contact us at rica@ibiza-bible.com. As a consumer you may also turn to the Spanish consumer arbitration system (Junta Arbitral de Consumo) and to the consumer authority of the Balearic Islands (Dirección General de Consumo).

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. For consumers, mandatory consumer-protection rules and, where the law so provides, the courts of the consumer’s place of residence apply. The general conditions are incorporated under Law 7/1998 on General Contracting Conditions.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms; the version in force is the one published here.
